She began working with Do Theatre as a dancer and Formalniy Theatre as an actress, working on 8 productions over 5 years. She then continued her studies at EDDC (European Dance Development Center) where she began discovering her own style. She made her New York debut in 2000 at the Joyce Theater's Altogether Different Festival with Yoshiko Chuma's School of Hard Knocks. In the summer of 2001 she performed with Do Theatre in Moscow's Red Square as part of the Theater Olympics Festival. She has now begun incorporating her singing and costume designing skills into her work. She has recorded her first CD with the band Barbez and works as an assistant designer in Yvette Helin's studio working for Nickelodeon, Disney, and Broadway shows. With these new skills, she creates dance-theater pieces that are performed at the Phat Tuesdays performance series at Galapagos Art Space, and regularly performs with Barbez in downtown music venues.
